The average household size is 2.38 and the average family size is 2.93. In the town the population is spread out with 19.9% under the age of 18, 22.2% from 18 to 24, 24.9% from 25 to 44, 19.0% from 45 to 64, and 13.9% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 32 years. For every 100 females there are 87.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 83.6 males. The median income for a household in the town is $36,125, and the median income for a family is $43,101. Males have a median income of $31,373 versus $24,054 for females. The per capita income for the town is $16,932. 10.9% of the population and 6.9% of families are below the poverty line.
